HIPA winning photo “Alone at Night” by Italian Photographer Massimo Giorgetta
During the night dive called black water bonfire, on a depth of about 20 meters. small subjects of various species in juvenile or larval form would rise from the bottom around the light of the illuminator, and around a juvenile pipefish form subject, photographed near the surface alone among a multitude of small, transparent shrimp.
Italian famous photographer Massimo Giorgetta was awarded the Grand Prix, worth 120,000 dollars, at the 12th HIPA competition for his photo of a creature from the jellyfish tunicate family.
