প্রথমবার আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিয়েই পদক জিতলেন বাংলাদেশের নারী বডিবিল্ডার মাকসুদা আক্তার।মুম্বাইয়ে চলমান আইএইচএফএফ অলিম্পিয়া অ্যামেচার বডিবিল্ডিংয়ে তৃতীয় রানার্সআপ হয়েছেন তিনি। এই প্রতিযোগীতায় বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশের ৩০ জন বডিবিল্ডার অংশ নেন। মাকসুদা অংশ নেন উইম্যান ফিজিক ক্যাটাগরিতে। এর আগে গত বছর হয়েছেন জাতীয় চ্যাম্পিয়ন। এ বছর বঙ্গবন্ধু বাংলাদেশ গেমসে সোনার পদক জিতেছেন। ভারতের বোম্বে এক্সিবিশন সেন্টার হলে প্রাথমিক বাছাই থেকে সেরা আটে ওঠেন মাকসুদা। এরপর ফাইনালে বিচারকদের রায়ে হয়েছেন তৃতীয় রানারআপ।
