মগবাজার-মৌচাক ফ্লাইওভারের পাশ দিয়ে হেঁটে যাচ্ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সহকারী পরিচালক (এডি) দীপান্বিতা বিশ্বাস দীপু। এ সময় নির্মাণাধীন ভবন থেকে তার মাথায় একটি ইট পড়ে। এতে ঘটনাস্থলেই তার মৃত্যু হয়। তিনি দীপান্বিতা বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সদরঘাট শাখায় সহকারী পরিচালক (এডি) হিসেবে কর্মরত ছিলেন। তার তিন বছর বয়সী একটি কন্যাসন্তান রয়েছে। তার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে সিরাজুল ইসলাম মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালের মর্গে রাখা হয়েছে।

নভোএয়ার ২০২৪ সালে এয়ারবাসের এ৩২১ মডেলের ৩টি উড়োজাহাজ তাদের বহরে যোগ করবে। এছাড়া এ বছর ৬ টি আন্তর্জাতিক রুটে তাদের ফ্লাইট শুরু হবে। নভোএয়ারের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মফিজুর রহমান বলেন, নতুন উড়োজাহাজগুলো যুক্ত হলেই ব্যাংকক, কুয়ালালামপুর, সিঙ্গাপুর, দুবাই, শারজাহ, মাস্কাটে আমাদের ফ্লাইট শুরু করবো। বর্তমানে নভোএয়ারের বহরে ৭টি এটিআর ৭২-৫০০ প্লেন রয়েছে যা দেশের অভ্যন্তরে ৭টি এবং আন্তর্জাতিক ১টি গন্তব্যে ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করছে। তারা ১১ বছরে ১ লাখেরও বেশি ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করে ৬০ লাখেরও বেশি যাত্রীকে সেবা দিয়েছে।
