PALAKKAD, India — A Dalit migrant labourer from Chhattisgarh was allegedly beaten to death by a mob in Kerala’s Palakkad district after being mistakenly identified as a Bangladeshi national, according to reports. The incident has sparked outrage and renewed concerns over mob violence and the safety of migrant and marginalized communities.
